Warehousing
and Processing
In order
that our customers can be assured of a continuous and
uninterrupted supply of graphite, we warehouse substantial
strategic stocks within the U. K. and Europe.
Most of the
world's main origins are represented within our total
stockholdings and natural graphite can be found in the form of
flakes, lumps, granules and powders, all of which will vary by
right of carbon content and particle size.
At our
modern processing works, natural and synthetic graphites are
processed and blended to meet individual manufacturers'
requirements. Our crushing, screening, grinding and micronising
plant is employed to produce an enviable range of grades:
granular materials from a range covering 0.15 mm to 10 mm,
powders from 250 micron to 40 micron and micronised powders down
to 2 micron particle size. Our range of processed grades covers
the full spectrum of carbon contents from 70% to 99.5%.
Extensive
laboratory and quality assurance facilities operating to ISO 9002
standards conduct the vital dual roles of research and quality
control. Development work results in many specifications and
grade characteristics being established in partnership with our
customers.
Quality
control ensures that all criteria for product performance are
operating efficiently.
